A Prophetic Word for Andy & Jane   I was praying for you a few weeks ago and saw a picture of trees in Cornwall that had been shaped by the wind coming off the Atlantic.   You see a picture, and can easily say ‘I recognise those trees, shaped by the wind!’

So it is with you. The Lord has blown the wind of the Holy Spirit over you for many years, shaping you in a certain way. 

But now the wind is beginning to blow in a different direction. You are still trusting the Lord, your confidence is still in Him, and you need to remember you are both still trees with deep roots.

But the wind of God is coming to reshape you; you will begin to feel the wind reshaping you in a different direction. The Lord says don’t resist the wind of change for it is He that is blowing. The change of wind direction doesn’t change the essence of who you are but simply the shape of how it is expressed. You don’t need a title or a job description but a joyful and willing heart in every area of life, for this reshaping will touch every area of your lives – your marriage, your children, your grandchildren, your friendships, your relationships to this church and the leaders. Priorities are going to change, opportunities for rest and relaxation in a new way will begin to appear on the horizon, space to fulfil dreams that have had to wait, and new ways of ministry will arise within a more mellow pace of life.

You will need to review how you respond to things: what you say, how you say it, indeed, if you say it. What you do, how you do it, indeed, if you do it.

The question you will need to be asking will always be: ‘Is this part of my reshaping?’

As you continue to trust and have confidence in the Lord, so you will see the new shape He is creating you to be. And as you bend with His wind, with deep roots that will hold you firm, you will begin to see the new thing that God is doing in you, for you and, many times, through you.
