The Hub
The Hub is a homeless drop-in centre situated near the Dorchester West train station. The Hub was launched by the churches of Dorchester and aims to provide help for the homeless. A number from within DFC serve this worthwhile ministry, this includes the provision of a nurse.
It provides:
- A warm and friendly environment
- Someone to talk to
- A hot meal
- Medical advice and treatment
- Help in finding accommodation
- Help with benefits
The Hub also hopes long term to provide job training. It is also a registered Big Issue vendor.
