What is KC?

A special Club, just for kids!  At DFC we realise that having a dynamic children’s ministry plays an important part in making DFC a place where everyone belongs!  Our aim is to make KC a friendly, fun place where kids can discover Christ’s awesome plan for their lives. 

What happens in KC?

We all come together for some fun and worship and then we break-up and go to our groups for games, a Bible story and craft activities.  We also have bi-monthly parties and a special summer program.

PRINCESS & WARRIOR DAY

Princess & Warrior Day are our annual KC outreach & training events.

Princess Day

Vision

For every girl to know that she is a precious daughter of the King and that makes her a Princess!

Aim

We want girls to leave our Princess day with this message in their hearts...no matter where you come from, no matter what people say about you, no matter what you may have thought of yourself, no matter what you may have done, no matter what you look like, no matter what your age, when you come into a relationship with Christ, you are adopted into His kingdom and made a beautiful Princess!

A Princess knows that she is:
- Precious...worth far more than rubies
- Clothed in dignity...her mistakes have been covered
- Here to serve and not be served...following in the example of her Father the King
- Beautiful...beauty comes from within and shines out

Warrior Day

Vision

For every boy to know that he was born to be a warrior for Christ! 

Aim

We want boys to leave our Warrior Day armed with this message...no matter what your size, no matter what your age, no matter what you may think of yourself, no matter what people have said about you, no matter what your background, God has called you to be a Warrior and when you come into a relationship with Him, He will train and equip you for battle with supernatural strength!

We want to give boys a complete picture of Christ - not just a meek and mild lamb, but a mighty warrior who defeated death on a cross!

A Warrior knows:
- True strength can only be found in weakness...when you are weak I am strong
- Not to use strength for personal gain...treat others as you want to be treated
- When to fight, when to walk away...follow Christ’s example
- To always be ready for battle...put on the armour of God every day
